Menehune Pineapple Bread Pudding

4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
2 tablespoons flour
1 can (15 1/4 ounces) crushed pineapple in its own juice
4 slices white or whole wheat bread, cubed

1. Beat eggs slightly in a medium-size bowl. Stir in sugar, butter, flour and pineapple. Stir in bread cubes. Pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.

2. Bake in a moderate (350 degrees) oven for 1 hour.

Makes 6 servings
